How to become our favourite performer:
- Give us your up-to-date availabilities: let us know when you are available but don't tell us you're available when you're not!
- Remember that a booking is a promise to work. The casting director and production are expecting you and not someone else for that day. Don't call us when something better comes up. That's a quick way to get labeled as unreliable!
- On the day before your booking, be ready to receive your details. During the week, call time calls come between 7 pm and 11 pm, and on the weekend, the calls can even come out in the morning of the day before. Make sure we can reach you!
- If you are unable to honour a booking because of illness or other emergency, give us as much notice as possible. We will require a doctor's note if your cancellation is due to illness.
- If the booking includes an email with information, print out any maps, notes, etc. and bring them with you. We have little patience with unprepared performers.
- Give your self plenty of time to get to set. Make it a rule to get there with plenty of time to sign in and get a coffee. Though it seems that little might be happening at the start of the day, looks can be deceiving.
- If you are going to be late, call the agent who booked you before you are going to be late. It's frustrating for us not to be able to find you when your call time has come and gone. You can get our phone numbers off the Office number or Hotline number.

Giving your availability online
We are happy to announce that our background performers are now able to change their availability online. All you need is an active email account.How to give/change your availability:
Step 1
You will notice a new menu item on the left: Members Area. Click on the link.

Step 2
Log into the Members Area using your email address as your Username, and the Password is the last four digits of your Social Insurance Number.

Step 3
You will be taken to your personal calendar. Click on the days you are available: you will notice the days turn orange.
You can modify this - telling us you are not available - by clicking on the day again. It will go clear again.
If you want to start again, click Undo all changes.
Feel free to change the days as often as you like.
Some days are marked red. These are bookings we have recorded and are only changeable from our end.
Important: You must click the "Save My Calendar" button once you finish. This sends the availability information to our system.

Maximizing your Booking Opportunites
As things pick up this fall, we want to give some advice to performers wanting to get the largest number of BG bookings.
1) Make sure your online avails are up-to-date.
In order to get the jump on other agencies competing for the same bookings, we always call first those performers who have listed themselves as available. Because casting directors are looking at availabilities online as well, YOU MUST UPDATE THEM WHENEVER THEY CHANGE!
2) Make sure we have your latest contact information.
Cell phones and pager numbers change; make sure we know how to reach you quickest. If you have a text-message capable device or phone, let us know the phone number and provider - FIDO, BELL, etc. so we can send you messages. Email the information to info@inmotiontalent.com.

Are you interested in going out for commercial auditions?
If you are a non-union background performer and are not represented by any other agency for commercials, please let us know you are interested: we would be happy to submit you for commercial projects.
Only two things are required:
1. A Membership at Casting Workbook
Membership at www.castingworkbook.com costs $54.00 per year.
2. Headshots
Special arrangements have been made with a local headshot photographer to take professional headshots, which you will then receive on a CD. This service costs only $125.00
